1334412 Amphibious vehicles P PAPADOPOULOS 20 July 1971 [24 July 1970] 33879/71 Heading B7A An amphibious vehicle comprises a rectangular chassis 11 supported by two rows of rotatable spherical floats 17, and carrying a pair of air screw propulsion units 29, an air rudder 28 and sea rudder 30. Aerofoils (not shown) may be provided to assist in lifting the vehicle air speed with the floats riding over the water surface. The suspension arms 18, 19 act through a hydraulic shock absorber (25).
