Abstract

1334394 Regulating compressors WESTINGHOUSE BREMSEN-UND APPARATEBAU GmbH 31 Dec 1970 [2 Jan 1970] 62015/70 Heading F1N The clearance space 20 of a reciprocating piston compressor is connected to an additional space 21 when the delivery pressure in a chamber 6 reaches a predetermined value. The connection between the spaces 20, 21 is made by the opening of a valve 8, the valve being movable by a piston 13 displaced when the delivery pressure is sufficient to overcome the loading of a spring 16.
