Abstract

1330814 Writing instruments YA-MEI HUNG and YEN-PING HSIAO LIU 29 June 1972 30450/72 Heading B6P A writing instrument comprises a tubular casing containing writing units 10, the tubular casing being formed at one end with a tapered bore 21 and the writing units 10 being shaped to be supported by the tapered bore. The tubular casing may be formed at its other end with flexible retainer fingers (Fig. 6, not shown) or the fingers 36 may be formed on a tubular ejector member 31-35 which is slidable within the tubular casing and may be pushed forward to eject the operative writing unit 10. Replacement writing units are stored within the tubular ejector member from which they are withdrawn by inversion of the writing instrument. The writing units may have leads or ballpoints.
