Aerial warfare; dropping bombs.-A bomb 1 is held against a fin 57 and seats 58 on an aircraft by means of a circular band 59 fixed at one end and secured at the other end by a cotter pin 62, which is pulled out by a link or lever 63 to release the bomb. A cord 53 serves to open a valve within the bomb to cause compressed air to extend a tail and a precurnory or fore-running member. which are normally in collapsed position.
