The surfaces define a V-form channel 1A whose included angle may be 90 degrees. The surfaces are preferably arranged at 45 degrees to a vertical axis. The surfaces may be formed by machining first one surface, then rotating the bed casting. and/or the cutter of the planer milling machine on which machining is performed through an accurate 90-degree angle, then machining the second surface.
