Abstract

1329794 False twisting HEBERLEIN & CO AG 23 March 1972 [24 March 1971] 13679/72 Heading D1D [Also in Division F2] A false twister having a roller-driven false twist tube 8 comprises two drive shafts 3, 3' each of which can be coupled with one of the roller shafts 2, 2', the drive shafts 3, 3' being adapted to be driven in opposite directions. As shown, the coupling between the drive shafts and the roller shafts comprises a sliding bush 7 carrying a driving pin 15 engageable. with a groove 22 in the roller shaft. The bush 7 is held in position by a spring clip engaging on the driving shaft. The twist tube 8 can be held in position by a horseshoe magnet.
