Abstract

132,945. Judge, T. A., and Judge, A. Dec. 2. 1918. Clutches, free-wheel.-Rollers or cylinders for spinning or other textile machines made from two ribbons of steel wound in helical form as described in Specification 26061/09 [Class 83 (ii), Metal articles &c.], are mounted at each end upon a gudgeon k by means of a disk J booed to receive the conical end of the gudgeon and a dished disk B with a depressed portion D accommodating a collet E with cam-shaped recesses to hold steel balls II. On rotation of the gudgeon, the balls secure the cylinder to the gudgeon.
