Abstract
1329304 Systems of doubly refracting crystals KOMBINAT ROBOTRON VEB 17 Sept 1970 44528/70 Heading G2J In a modification of the arrangement of doubly refracting crystals for reducing aperture aberration in digital light deflection systems disclosed in patent Specification 1266231, crystal 6 is turned through +90 degrees in relation to crystal 2 and crystal 7 is turned through -90 degrees in relation to crystal 3 about the system axis 4, the position of crystal 6 with respect to crystal 3 being 180 degrees about the system axis such that the light deflection of crystal 6 is of the same magnitude as that of crystal 3 but in the opposite direction in relation to the system axis. The crystals of the two systems may be of the same or different material. If of different material, the crystals on one system have deviating parameters but the same aperture abberration relative to the crystals of the other system.
