Abstract

1325543 Plaster compositions W R GRACE & CO 7 Aug 1970 [1 Aug 1969 11 Aug 1969] 38801/69 and 40142/69 Heading C1H A plaster composition contains an aqueous dispersion of a homo- or co-polymer of vinyl chloride, an acrylic acid or a non-elastomeric homo- or co-polymer of an aliphatic monoolefin, a dispersion stabilizer, and one or more accelerators or retarders. Anhydride or hemihydrate can be used. Polyoxyethylene esters of phenols or alcohols are specified stabilizers, whilst retarders are proteins and borax and accelerators are, e.g., Na 2 SO 4 , H 2 SO 4 , gypsum and Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 . The compositions can be foamed.
