Abstract

1324882 Kiln cars ACME MARLS Ltd 15 Oct 1971 [24 Oct 1970] 50616/70 Heading F4B A kiln car 10 is provided with a supporting structure of ceramic refractory material comprising a plurality of shelves 22 slidably assembled with a plurality of support members 14, 16 so that any one shelf may easily be removed without dismantling the entire structure. Shouldered shelf-bearing members 14 are spaced vertically by spacer members 16. Members 14 have raised strips 15a acting as guides to facilitate insertion of the shelves 22. The supporting structure may be cross-braced by members (24), Fig. 3 (not shown).
