1324683 Refuse bag holders KOMPRIMATOR A B 24 July 1970 36128/70 Heading A4A [Also in Division B8] A refuse bin comprises an outer casing 11 preferably of steel and an inner bag 20, preferably of plastics or paper, and a pivotable locking assembly 22-27 adapted to hold the inner bag 20 against the interior walls of the casing 11. The locking assembly comprises a rectangular plate extending above the upper rim of a rear wall 21 of the casing 11 as shown, a second plate 26 being pivotally attached at 25 along the upper edge of the plate 22 via a hinge member. A generally 'U'-shaped member 27 is rigidly attached towards the lower part of the plate 26 and the member 27 is of a shape and size generally corresponding to the interior of the upper part of casing 11. The assembly may be pivotally rotated away from the open end of the casing 11, a bag 20 inserted and retained in the casing by returning the locking assembly to the position shown, the bag 20 being retained by friction between the plate 26 and member 27 and warts (28), Fig.3 (not shown), the member 27 being further supported in operative position by stop members (29), Fig. 4 (not shown), formed on the interior of the casing 11. A plurality of containers 11, 20 are arranged on a common circular rotatable base, Fig. 1 (not shown), each casing 11 being provided with a door (12) pivotally opening outwards, the junction (13), between two adjacent containers being adapted to provide a common vertical axis for the doors (12).
