Abstract

1323953 Racks T N DEPEW 3 March 1971 5867/71 Heading A4H [Also in Division B8] Each of a pair of racks A for supporting cylindrical articles consists of a series of U- shaped strips welded together and to a base strip. At each end, an upright is welded to the base and to the adjacent U-shaped strip and is provided at its upper end with a stud which is adapted to engage a corresponding aperture in the base of an overlying rack. As shown in Fig.1, a pair of racks A rest on the upper surface of a pallet. In a modification, Fig. 5, each rack is provided on its underside with a pair of feet 23 formed with apertures 27 into which the times of a lift fork may be inserted. In a further modification, Fig. 6 (not shown), the apertures 27 in the feet extend longitudinally of the rack.
