Abstract

1322664 Hooks PARSONS CHAIN CO Ltd 2 May 1972 [5 May 1971] 13214/71 Heading E2A A sling hook H has a load pin 2 having pivoted at one end thereof a spring-biassed mousing piece 1. The pin 2 is received in a bore which passes through the eye portion of the hook and is retained by pins P which are mounted in respective bores B in the eye portion and are received in respective grooves formed in the pin 2. The mousing piece 1, having forked ends 4, is mounted by a pin 7 on the end of the pin 2 which is provided with flats 3, is urged to the position shown in Fig. 1 by a spring 5, and is guided by lugs 6 attached thereto.
