1322071 Road vehicle suspensions MOULTON DEVELOPMENTS Ltd 19 April 1971 [30 Jan 1970] 4622/70 Heading B7D A vehicle wheel suspension arm has its inner end 4 engaging the outer shells of an axially spaced pair of resilient torsion bushes 5, 6 which each comprise inner and outer cylindrical rubber bodies 7, 8 bonded to an intermediate metal sleeve 9 and have inner shells 11 mounted on a bush 12 carried by a pivot shaft 1 fixed to the vehicle body 3 through rubber bushes 33. An hydraulic displacer unit 23 acting on the arm is carried by a casing 20 which has journal portions 21 mounted on the shaft 1, resilient means 25 being interposed between the casing 20 and the body 3 to resist rotation of the casing.
