Abstract

1321908 Wet treatment device JOH KLEINEWEFERS SOHNE 8 Sept 1970 [22 Sept 1969] 42876/70 Heading D1L A wet treatment device comprises an impregnating unit 4 consisting of a set of rolls 5 pressed together to firmly guide web of fabric 1 over the rolls and dip the fabric into impregnating liquid 7; a drum 10 for winding up the impregnated fabric; and means to maintain constant contact pressure between the last roll 9 of the impregnating unit and the drum. In the figure, the constant contact pressure is provided by pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical means from device 11. In a second embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown) the pressure is provided by the weight of the drum. Impregnation may also be carried out by sprays 8.
