Abstract

1320092 Laminated containers AKERLUND & RAUSING AB 19 April 1971 [13 Feb 1970] 21583/71 Heading B5N [Also in Division B8] A method of making a receptacle 1 or a cover 2 therefore comprises providing a plastics layer 5 with a decorated surface 7, e.g. by printing, attaching this surface to another layer of plastics 6 by means of a bonding layer 8 and then deepdrawing the thus formed laminate. The decorated plastics layer is preferably ductile, e.g. polyethylene and is bonded to a more rigid material, e.g. polyvinylchloride or polyethylene. The laminate may be rendered gas tight by suitable selection of the bonding layer 8 or by inclusion of an extra layer, e.g. of polyvinylidenechloride. The receptacle 1 may be provided with flanges 3 adapted to provide a snap fit with lugs 4 of the cover 2.
