1319267 Thiazolo [5,4-c] or [4, 5-c] isoquinolines in photographic silver halide materials EASTMAN KODAK CO 8 Oct 1970 [8 Oct 1969] 47916/70 Heading G2C A sensitive photographic material comprises a support bearing a photographic silver halide layer and contains in that layer, or in a layer adjacent thereto, a thiazolo [5,4-c] or [4, 5-c] isoquinoline having at the 2-position H, halogen, OH, mercapto or amino, the isoquinoline portion of the molecule being unsubstituted or substituted. The isoquinoline significantly enhances the stability of the photographic silver halide with regard to the growth of fog without seriously decreasing its photographic sensitivity.
