Abstract

1314662 Jewellery O E EBERLE 19 April 1971 [5 Oct 1970] 21844/71 Heading A3H [Also in Division B3] An article of jewellery comprises a first metal part formed into a first portion, visible in the finished article, and a second position, hidden in the finished item and upon which keying means are formed; and a second metal part cast around said second portion and keying means, said keying means providing interlocking between the first and second parts. In an embodiment Fig. 1, a finger ring comprises a first part 11, formed by casting, including a jewel support 12 and a hidden portion 14, extending partially around the band of the ring and including keying means i.e. holes 15 formed therein, and a second part 10 cast around said first part. In another embodiment Fig. 3, the first part comprises a band 20 of another ring with integral transverse bands 22, the second part having longitudinal bands 21 with integral keying holes 23.
