1313552 Fluid pressure brakes WESTING- HOUSE BREMSEN-UND APPARATEBAU GmbH 19 Oct 1970 [3 Nov 1969] 49498/70 Heading F2F A fluid pressure brake system has a reservoir 3 charged by a pump 1 via a valve assembly 2 connected to brake cylinders 16 via a drivers valve 5 including a piston 7, with an annular recess 11 and bore 12, slidable in a body having an annular duet 8 and chamber 13, there being provided a return branch 17, from the brake line, including a constriction 18. When brake pedal 6 is actuated, piston 7 is displaced to allow fluid to flow to the cylinders 16 and to the return branch via flow-regulating constriction 18, the brake pressure also acting on the end face 19 of the piston 7 to provide a reactive force.
