Abstract

1313315 Electrographic printing apparatus HONEYWELL Inc 21 Sept 1970 [29 Dec 1969] 44898/70 Heading G2H An electrographic printing apparatus comprises a continuous sheet of flexible recording medium 16 composed of conductive paper with a dielectric coating, an electrostatic imaging means consisting of an image roll 24 and an electrode 26 biased against the conductive paper, a developing station 34 consisting of a pump 36 and fan nozzle 42 for spreading developing liquid laterally over an inclined steel plate 44 so as to form a meniscus between the sheet 16 and the plate 44, a longitudinally notched rod 50 as wiper and a drying station consisting of a roll 74, an absorption roll 76. A roll 78 applies cleaning fluid to the absorption roll.
