Abstract

1313062 Toys with trackways TOMY CO Inc 6 July 1971 [3 Aug 1970] 31667/71 Heading A6S A toy comprises a trackway 10, Fig. 1, assembled from sections 12, &c, and including a lift mechanism 26 having along its length a helical screw 52, Fig. 2, rotated by an electric motor 48, a toy skier, &c 80, Fig. 10, mounted on a wheeled carriage 76 to run along the trackway having at least one depending hook 86, 88 which engages the helical screw so that the skier, &c is raised up the lift mechanism. The top surface of the track of lift mechanism 26 has inwardly directed flanges beneath which slide sideways extending lugs (90), Fig. 8 (not shown) on the toy skier 80. From the top of the lift mechanism 26, the toy skier 80 passes round the sections 12, &c to reach a switched start section 24 having alternative paths 32, 32', the former automatically returning the toy skier to the foot of the lift mechanism while the other includes a selectively operated stop 38. The lift motor 48 is battery powered. (For Figures see next page)
