Abstract

1312117 Pressure responsive switches SIXTEN ENGLESSON TEKNISK KONSULT AB and S B F CARLSTEDT 9 April 1970 16916/70 Heading H1N [Also in Division F1] A fluid pressure switch has a blade spring of 8-shape with both ends clamped and forced apart so that the blade is snap-acting; a contact carrying arm 62 projects from a part of the S-shape which moves much further than the operating point during snap action. The blade 36 is clamped to a support 42 by bolts 50, 70. The lower bolt 50 has an eecentric portion 52 for adjusting the deformation of the blade. A diaphragm 16 responsive to fluid pressure is in contact with a piston 24 acting through a push rod 32 on the blade at a point substantially on the centre line through bolts 50, 70 (Fig. 2, not shown). The blade has two loops 54, 58 extending on opposite sides of the centre line, the loop 58 being bigger and supporting the arm 62. The contact 68 carried by the blade moves between an adjustable fixed contact 80 and an adjustable back stop 90 which may also be a contact and which is coupled to a setting knob 92.
