Abstract

1309797 Sliding clasp fasteners OPTI-HOLDING AG 6 April 1970 [23 April 1969] 16173/70 Heading E2S A sliding clasp fastener comprises stringer tapes 1, 2, rows of interlocking elements 3, 4 attached thereto and a slider 9, all of which are made from a material which is capable of elastic deformation at ironing and wringing temperatures, the slider 9 having guide channels 11 for the rows of interlocking elements 3, 4, and surfaces 14, 15 on its upper and lower plates 12, 13, such that under loads applied at right angles in either direction to the slider e.g. during ironing and wringing the surfaces 14, 15 contact and imprison the stringer tapes 1, 2 and the faces defining the guide channels 11 together with the imprisoned stringer tapes 1, 2 imprison the interlocking elements 3, 4 as shown in Fig. 3.
