Abstract

1308353 Multiplex radio signalling STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 24 Sept 1970 45513/70 Heading H4L In an arrangement for diplexing two transmitters T1, T2, operating at different frequencies f 1 , f 2 , on to a common aerial via output OP, two pairs of filters F1, F2 passing the frequencies f 1 , f 2 respectively, are arranged in a bridge as shown. The filters may be in coaxial, waveguide or stripline form according to the frequencies of the signals to be diplexed. A phase inverting transformer 1T, which may be in the form of a half-wavelength length of line, is connected in one of the arms of the bridge. A phase inverted output may be taken from the other junction of F1 and F2.
