Abstract
1307831 Core constructions BIRMINGHAM SMALL ARMS CO Ltd 18 June 1970 [4 June 1969] 28250/69 Headings C3B B1L4H BC1 BC33A BC33X and BA A method of making a core for a motor or generator comprises the steps of mixing iron powder and a plastics material powder, the iron powder constituting 80-95% by volume of the mixture, compacting the mixture in a die and heating the compact to cure the plastics material. The latter may be either thermosetting or thermoplastic. Preferably a fast-curing epoxy resin is used.
