Abstract

1307619 Screw sockets J BLUM 21 April 1970 19100/70 Heading F2H A device for fastening a threaded pin 13 to a metal frame 1 comprises a metal casing 3 closed at one end and which embraces a plastics insert 4 provided with a bore to receive the pin 13 and which is secured in the casing 13 against both torsional and axial displacement. The casing 3 and insert 4 are of non-circular crosssection (Fig. 2, not shown) to provide against torsional displacement and an annular member, formed by the internally threaded projection 9 of a plate 2 prevents any axial displacement. The casing is provided with a flange which is spotwelded to the plate 2 which in turn can be spotwelded to the frame 1.
