Abstract

1304610 Two-part couplings Z DESHAW 16 June 1971 [21 May 1970] 24716/70 Heading H2E In a three-pin mains plug, screw-clamp terminals t<SP>1</SP>, t<SP>11</SP>, t<SP>111</SP> are located in a terminal block 3 fixed or loosely located in the base of the plug adjacent the point of entry of a cable C. The terminals, which are preferably equidistant from the said entry point, are connected by conductive strips 4, 5, 6 to fuse F and earth and neutral pins E, N respectively. In a modification three separate terminals replace terminal block 3. The interior of the plug may be filled with rubber &c. In a plug without a fuse the removable cover 1 may be limited to cover only the terminals, the remaining components being in an integral block.
