Abstract

Dandy rolls. - To remove the water from the interior of rollers used for straining paper or other pulp, the hollow axle a of the roller is provided with hollow arms or scoops d with open ends turned nearly at right - angles, as shown, so that as the roller rotates the water is discharged through the axle and away from the roller. The invention is shown applied to a roller of the kind described in Specification 126,913.
