1302304 Inverting LICENTIA PATENTVERWALTUNGS GmbH 2 Dec 1970 [5 Dec 1969] 57342/70 Heading H2F A three-phase inverter comprises three singlephase inverters 1, 2, 3 connected to an unbalanced three-phase four-wire load RSTMp via a neutral-point transformer 15, the inverters 1, 2, 3 having individual voltage regulating circuits 18, 28, 38 respectively connected between one output line and the neutral Mp. This arrangement tends to maintain the voltage of each phase despite an unbalanced load. As shown, each inverter 1, 2, 3 comprises a pair of square-wave inverters 11, 11<SP>1</SP> the relative phase of which is controlled by a phase shifter 19 under control of the voltage regulator 18 so as to vary the effective width of the output. Sine filters comprising series inductors 14, 24, 34 and parallel resonant circuits 16, 16<SP>1</SP> &c. are included. Harmonic filters such as 16<SP>11</SP> may be included. Inductors 14, 24, 34 may be replaced by series resonant circuits. Fig. 2 (not shown) relates to a complete vector diagram.
