Abstract

1302119 Supporting wall cladding panels H SCHERFF [trading as HANS SCHERFF] 17 April 1970 [19 April 1969] 18408/70 Heading E1W A wall cladding panel 3 is mounted with clearance from a wall 1 by means of an adjustable device comprising a connecting rod 6 bolted at one end to the wall, the other end being bent into a U-shaped cup member 7 which receives the lower shank portion of an adjustable screw 15 provided in a recess in the panel. Raising and lowering of the panel and clearance from the wall may be varied by adjusting screw 15 in combination with adjustment of a second screw 13 which passes through depending flange 11 of an angle member 9 attached to the cup member 7. For lateral adjustment of the panel the shank end of the screw 15 may be laterally displaced to a limited extent in the cup member 7.
