Abstract

1301534 Clamps COAL INDUSTRY (PATENTS) Ltd 21 May 1971 [12 June 1970] 28605/70 Heading E2B [Also in Division F2] Cladding is secured to a support or to other sheet material by means of an L-shaped bolt located by a clip. As shown in Fig. 1, corrugated roofing I is secured to a purlin 2 by a bolt 5, 10 secured by a clip 8 to the edge of the purlin. The bolt may be cranked as shown in Fig. 3 and a sealing grommet 16 used. The shank 7 may be flattened at 18 to be received in a notch in the clip 19. The bolt may be gently curved to a hook form (Fig. 6, not shown). Additional layers of sheeting or patching may be applied under the cladding, (Fig. 5, not shown).
