Abstract

1300776 Developing electrostatic images ADDRESSOGRAPH-MULTIGRAPH CORP 10 June 1970 [2 July 1969] 28134/70 Heading G2H An electrostatic latent image bearing sheet 52 is fed between a knife-edge electrode 40 and a conductive tube 22 from which a liquid suspension of toner particles is pumped, a voltage source 54 being connected between electrode 40 and tube 22. The potential may be reduced when the apparatus has been operating for some time. Preferably sheet 52 is guided by rods 46 arranged so that the non-image bearing surface of sheet 52 contacts electrode 40. Tube 22 may have a single row of outlets 24 or a random distribution Fig. 4, (not shown).
