Abstract

1300653 Printing apparatus &c W KAMMANN [trading as WERNER KAMMANN] 31 March 1970 [5 April 1969] 15062/70 Heading B6C Multi-colour screen-offset printing is carried out by applying a plurality of colours simultaneously through screen 14 onto offset means 22 or 62, then transferring the colours successively to the article 28 to be printed. The offset means may be a plurality of offset cylinders 22, in which case the articles may be sheets or non-circular bottles, and be printed by traversing movement of the cylinders 22, or may be a belt 62. Cylindrical bottles may be mounted on rollers 66as they areprinted on, and be rotated in contact with the belt 62. Ink adhering to the belt 62 is removed by a cleaning roller 72.
