1299643 Cold separation of gas mixtures MESSER GRIESHEIM GmbH 17 April 1970 [26 March 1969] 18383/70 Heading F4P Apparatus for separating a liquefied gas mixture into liquid and gaseous components comprises a chamber 9 having liquid feed inlet pipe 8, and downpipe 5 through which the liquid feed passes to the lower end of a plurality of indirect heat exchangers 1 of the plate type traversed by a warmer fluid e.g. a gas and in which the liquid feed is in part vaporized and passes upwardly through outlets 6a which project above the liquid level in chamber 9 and below a baffle 10 which serves to separate the liquid from the vapour which later is vented at 7.
