Abstract

1295554 Garment hangers SHIZUYUKI SUZUKI 5 Jan 1971 [15 Dec 1970] 485/71 Heading A4U [Also in Division E2] A synthetic resin garment hanger, assembled from separately moulded components, comprises a flexible main body a, which is apertured at 6 for passage of a rigid suspensory hook b , and a rigid trouser bar c which is connected to the main body by connecting means 11,12 having, cups 9, 10 integrally formed with the main body, and receiving the ends of the bar. The body has parts 2, 3 of increasing width and arcuate, cross-section extending from a plane central part 1 to parts 4, 5 of U-section, the hook part 13 and a rib 15 on the hook stem being forced through the aperture 6 by virtue of slits 7, 8 and, in position of use, the part 1 is retained between the rib 15 and a circular stop 16. In modifications, the main body is in the form of a flat strip of uniform width, or the connecting means is integral with the bar, or provided integrally on the bar and on the main body and take the form of bosses or projections received in openings, recesses or restricted-opening grooves.
