Abstract

1291717 Impact pulverizers; roller mills; vibratory screens HAZEMAG HARTZERKLEINERUNGS-UND ZEMENTMASCHINENBAU GmbH 17 Dec 1969 [3 Jan 1969] 61527/69 Headings B2A and B2H [Also in Division B8] A chute 7 for acentrifugal impact pulverizer 1 or roller mill has a surface formed by bars 7' lying side-by-side and individually vertically adjustable by means of screws 19. The screws are protected by an angle member 20, and adjustable by opening a flap 21 in the mill casing. The bars are pivotally mounted at their upper ends and for this purpose each bar has a recess 15 at each end, which engages a bar 14 of a cross-shaped member 16. The bars are thus reversible to accommodate wear. The member 16 is adjustable longitudinally by spindles 17. The bars of the chute 7 may be spaced so that the chute serves as a grating and in this case it may be vibrated. The size of ground material is regulated in the usual way by adjustment of baffle plates 8, 9. The bars may be made of an elastic material such as rubber or plastics. A grinding grate 13 is provided under the impact rotor 3. In a second embodiment each bar may be of articulated construction.
