1291196 Fatty alcohol ethoxylates ETHYL CORP 1 April 1971 8422/71 Heading C3R [Also in Divisions C2 and C5] Polyethers containing 60-90 wt. per cent ethoxy units, are made by reacting an alcohol mixture, consisting of 25-50 wt. per cent myristyl alcohol, 30-45 wt. per cent palmityl alcohol, 15-30 wt. per cent stearyl alcohol, not more than 2 wt. per cent alcohols of higher molecular weight than stearyl and not more than 2 wt. per cent alcohols of lower molecular weight than myristyl, with an ethoxylating agent.
