Abstract

1291067 Counters MATSUSHITA DENKO KK 25 Nov 1969 [30 Nov 1968 24 Dec 1968(2)] 57618/69 Heading G4D Zeroization of an electromagnetically operated counter is effected by depression of a push-button 6 or energization of a magnet 14 to depress an armature 18, which rocks a lever 90 counter-clockwise about a shaft 94. Associated rakes 88 strike heart cams 28 on the numeral wheels while a pin 91 on the opposite side of the lever 90 rocks and pulls a link 98 so that after a delay due to a slot and pin connection 100, 101 aframe 23 is rocked counterclockwise to disengage transfer pinions from the counter. The counter is stepped by a separate magnet 13 which oscillates a pallet 20. One spring 26 acts on the pallet 20 and the zeroizing lever 90 allowing only one or the other to be effective. The numeral wheels are viewed through a lens 110 formed integrally in the casing.
