Abstract

1290983 Filter press K I KURITA 28 Jan 1970 4105/70 Heading B1D In a filter press comprising alternate plates 1 and frames 2, each pair of adjacent plates and the frame between them are so linked by pivoted links 18, 19 and cables or chains 23 that movement of successive plates to the right during plate spreading tilts the following frames 2, which are pulled after them by chains 23, to discharge filter cake therefrom. Plates 1 are covered by cloth on both sides and supported on side bars 5 by handles (3). Frames 2 are mounted on rollers 10 which run on rails 15 inside bars 5.
