Abstract
1289869 Dry shavers ROBERT KRUPS 28 Sept 1970 [1 Oct 1969] 46066/70 Heading B4B An electric razor having a driven inner cutter 13 and a foil-supporting frame 14 removably arranged over the inner cutter 13 is provided with a range of interchangeable foils 15 of different cutting properties for attachment to securing means on the frame. The securing means may include a yoke 22 pivoted with the frame 14 on a spindle 16 of the razor casing 11, and engageable with a lug 17 of the frame 14 to hold a foil therebetween. The foils may be e.g. of 0.05-0À055 or 0À06-0À065 mm thickness, ranging in stages of 0À01 mm, and generally square apertures, e.g. of 0À25 mm minimum effective cutting edge length, ranging by 0À01 mm stages may be provided, Figs. 3-4 (not shown), the inter-aperture spacing varying in stages of about 0À05 mm.
