1287910 Herbicides containing triazines ROHM & HAAS CO 10 Dec 1969 [19 Dec 1968] 60286/69 Heading A5E [Also in Division C2] A herbicidal composition comprises a carrier together with a l-alkyl-4-alkylamino-1, 2-dihydro-1, 3, 5-triazine of the formula I: wherein R<SP>1</SP> is a C 1-5 alkyl group, R<SP>2</SP> is a C 1-14 alkyl group, R<SP>3</SP> is a hydrogen atom or a C 1-2 alkyl group and X is an oxygen or sulphur atom. The composition may also contain other herbicides, a number of various types being listed, e.g. carboxylic acids and their derivatives, carbamic acid derivatives, phenols, substituted ureas, substituted triazines, diphenyl ether derivatives, anilides, uracils, nitriles and other organic herbicides.
