Abstract

1287735 Container injection moulding R T MACGUIRE COOPER 14 Oct 1969 [21 Oct 1968] 49844/68. Heading B5A [Also in Divisions F1 and F2] A valve comprises a single moulding 1 having a movable outlet member 3 connecting to a body member 5 by an integral spring member 8. An extension 11 of the member 3 having a closed end, has channels 13 and 14 formed therein which are closed by an annular sealing member 4 located in the member 5. Depression of the outer member 3 distorts the member 4 and opens the channels 13, 14 to an inlet 7. The valve may be moulded integrally with the top part of a container. A mould for producing the valve by thermo-plastic injection moulding is described with reference to Fig. 8.
