Abstract

1287424 Oriented magnetic steel NIPPON STEEL CORP 30 Oct 1969 [1 Nov 1968 10 Dec 1968] 53128/69 Headings C7A and C7N Steel containing less than 4% by weight of silicon and less than 0À065% of acid-soluble aluminium is subjected to a sequence of hot and cold rolling and annealing, followed by a final anneal using a separating agent containing boron or a boron compound in an amount of 0À01 to 2% by weight calculated as boron. Additionally the separator may contain 0À05 to 5% by weight of sulphur or selenium, either elementally or as a compound.
