1286544 Releasable fastenings AIRFLEX CONTAINERS Ltd 28 July 1970 [26 Aug 1969] 42498/69 Heading E2A A flexible cover 10 is secured and sealed to the rim 2 of a pallet 1 by means of a tubular edge portion 11 which is inflated within a flaired slot 3 in the rim. The inner wall 7 of the slot is provided with longitudinal ribs 8. Hooks 16 engaging in holes 15 in a flange 14 give additional security. A valve (not shown) provides for evacuation of the cover.
