Abstract

1286469 Laminate TATE & LYLE Ltd 27 May 1970 [27 May 1969 (2)] 26626/69 and 26627/69 Heading B5N [Also in Division C3] A laminate comprises a corrugated layer of fibrous board, compound of bagasse fibres or wood chips bound with a phenolic novolak resin, the corrugations having the shape of truncated triangles with a flat top or sinusoidal or triangular boron, adhesively bonded to at least one plane compressed resin bonded bagasse board. The plane bagasse board may be clad on its lower surface with a melamine laminate. In an embodiment a hollow panel member comprises two of the corrugated members superimposed one on the other at their truncations.
