1285633 Glow plug ignition systems CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 24 Nov 1969 57412/69 Heading F1B [Also in Division H1] An internal-combustion engine comprises a heating element (glow plug) 57 for heating a precombustion chamber therein, means 17 actuatable to a first position for providing power to the heating element means 27 for holding the actuatable means in the first position and thermosensitive means 63 connected to the heating element for releasing the actuatable means from the first position when the heating element attains a predetermined temperature. Means 75 is provided for turning the engine when the actuatable means 17 is shifted to a second position.
