Abstract

1285338 Springs GEORGE ANGUS & CO Ltd 54101/68 Heading F2S A spring consisting of a moulded pad 1 of resiliently deformable material has at least one flexible insert which keys with the pad and retains a mounting bolt 6. The insert may be made of plastics material e.g. solid polyurethane or nylon, or metal and comprise a disc 3 with tangs 4 and a hole (5, Fig. 2, not shown) for a coach bolt 6, which is moulded into the pad. The pad is preferably microcellular polyurethane and frusto-conical in shape.
