Spring hooks.-A spring closing-member for a hook consists of a piece of looped wire B guided by a web C on the shank A of the hook, which is nf cast metal or a forging. Projections F, G retain and .limit the movement of the piece B. The ends of the wire are inserted in slots in the shank A and secured by closing the metal upon them.
