1283439 Fluid pressure brake systems BENDIX CORP 24 June 1970 5356/71 Divided out of 1283438 Heading F2F A servo-motor device 10 for operating the master cylinder 14 of an antiskid braking system has a working chamber containing two diaphragms 74, 76 connected to the master cylinder, a valve chamber containing a diaphragm 94 secured to a wall 92 carrying a valve mechanism and being movable independently to operate the master cylinder, the valve mechanism supplying the rear chamber with vacuum in non-operated condition and atmospheric pressure in the operated condition. Pressure is produced in a reaction chamber 138, in operation, to provide a reaction force or "feel" or brake pedal 16.
