Abstract

1282987 Filter element DRAGERWERK AG 24 Sept 1970 [24 Sept 1969] 45667/70 Headings B1D and B1T In a flat corrugated type of filter element for use in a respirator, the walls of corrugations are held apart by wedge-shaped spacers (Fig. 2) made of plastics strips corrugated as shown in Fig. 4, with a larger corrugation height along one edge than along the opposite edge. Height b may be reduced to zero to produce corrugations in the filter medium of triangular section. The spacer strips are corrugated by deep drawing of hot plastics sheet and have one corrugated edge longer than the other, measured along the corrugations.
